Built around the service job

narra connects customer and property records with quotes, jobs, scheduled visits, crew work and invoices. It is built for home-service teams that need the office, field crew and customer to follow the same agreement.

An accepted quote carries the agreed work into the job. A scheduled visit tells the crew where to go and what to do. The invoice records what is being billed. Those records stay connected, while their individual statuses remain distinct: completing a visit does not mean the customer has paid.

Start with the product walkthrough to see the quote, visit and invoice. The CRM overview shows how the customer and property history fit around that work.

Three views of the same work

  • The office: desktop tools for customer records, quotes, scheduling, assignments, invoices and recorded payments.
  • The crew: narra Field on a phone for the day's visits, job details, progress, notes and completion.
  • The customer: private links to review a quote, respond to it and view invoices.

Explore the feature workflows for the details and responsibilities of each view. The industry pages explain where the shared workflow fits different trades and which specialized requirements to check.

Review the demonstrated workflow and any specialized requirements before deciding whether it fits your business. narra's own software comparison gives a practical checklist for that evaluation.

How we put the guides together

The narra team creates the guides, worksheets and tools on this site. Examples use fictional jobs and illustrative figures. They are not customer results or recommended market prices.

Each worksheet explains its inputs and calculation so you can check it with your own business records. We update guides when the explanation or tool changes, while keeping the original publication date.
