Snow removal software for the work behind each visit.

Keep the areas you agreed to service, the crew’s visit and the billing basis together. narra connects office planning, Field records and the customer portal for one-time jobs and recurring agreements.

Agree the service before the calendar fills up.

A service occurrence and a billing period are different things. Describe the areas, access and terms that apply to your arrangement, then record what happened at the property. The examples here are a way to organize work in narra; they do not claim weather-triggered dispatch, plow tracking or automatic treatment decisions.

  1. 01

    Define areas and billing terms

Describe the agreed areas and any exclusions in the quote. Keep separately purchased services explicit and state how the price is calculated. A recurring invoice could total service occurrences or apply an agreed package amount; the calendar alone does not tell the office which calculation the customer accepted.

  2. 02

    Plan the crew’s visit

Schedule the work and assign the team with the relevant property instructions. Record access constraints and site context that affect the handoff. Keep the current plan visible when dates or visit windows change. Your operation decides when conditions require attendance; narra is not presented here as an automatic weather monitor.

  3. 03

    Record completed areas and exceptions

Use a short checklist for the purchased service and notes or relevant photos for the actual result. Identify blocked areas, incomplete work and any needed return. A completion record should make the outcome understandable to the office, rather than treating arrival at the property as proof of the full scope delivered.

  4. 04

    Reconcile before invoicing

Review completed work, agreed terms and existing linked invoices. Confirm approved additional work before including it in the bill. Keep the service period or visits covered clear so a later occurrence is not confused with work already billed. Communicate a changed agreement instead of quietly altering the customer’s expected charge.

Keep each occurrence understandable after the weather changes.

Residential service visits

Keep the purchased areas and current access instructions on the job. Let the crew record a specific exception and next action when part of the site cannot be serviced as planned.

Recurring or seasonal agreements

Define visit planning and the agreed price separately. Review the actual terms when a service is skipped, delayed or incomplete; a planned calendar entry is not automatically a billable completed occurrence.

Return work and additional requests

Record the request and approval when scope grows. Distinguish additional purchased work from a return to finish the original agreement. The office can then explain the invoice using the same record the crew worked from.

Frequently asked questions

Does narra automatically dispatch crews when snow falls?

This page does not claim automatic weather monitoring or weather-triggered dispatch. narra supports job and visit scheduling, crew assignment and work records. Your operation remains responsible for the service decisions and plan.

Can I bill per visit or under a recurring agreement?

Keep the accepted calculation explicit in the quote and job. Review completed work and previous invoices against those terms. Billing frequency describes when the bill is issued; it does not by itself establish a per-visit or fixed package price.

Does narra track plows or optimize salt use?

No dedicated plow telematics, salt optimization or treatment guidance is claimed here. The published workflow covers customer scope, scheduling, visit tasks, notes, photos and invoices. Review specialized equipment or reporting needs separately.

What should I do when one area cannot be completed?

Record the affected area, the reason and the next action. Agree any replacement visit or scope change with the customer. Review the billing terms before sending a normal full-service invoice that would conceal the incomplete work.
