Pool service software that keeps each visit connected.

Keep the routine visit, the property instructions and any additional work on the same job record. narra connects the office, the crew’s Field app and the customer portal for recurring service and one-time jobs.

Separate routine service from the work that needs approval.

A scheduled stop is a plan, not proof of completed work. Define what your recurring service covers, give the crew the property context and review exceptions before billing. The examples below show how to organize that handoff in narra; specialized pool testing and treatment tools are outside this workflow.

  1. 01

    Describe the service agreement

Put the recurring service and its exclusions into the quote. List separately priced work as clear line items rather than leaving the customer to infer what a package includes. State whether billing is per completed visit or an agreed recurring price, and keep that calculation distinct from how often the crew attends.

  2. 02

Plan visits with useful property notes

Schedule the visits and assign a crew. Keep the correct address, access arrangement and relevant site instructions with the job. Identify anything that must be checked before arrival, such as a customer being present. Avoid assuming that yesterday’s successful access confirms access for every future visit.

  3. 03

Record the outcome at the stop

Give the crew a short checklist tied to the purchased service. Use notes and relevant photos to record an inaccessible area, unfinished task or request for additional work. A factual exception lets the office arrange the next action without treating a partly completed visit as the whole agreement delivered.

  4. 04

    Review extras before invoicing

Compare the visit outcome with the agreement and existing linked invoices. Confirm the scope and price of additional work before charging for it. Keep the invoice connected to the job so the customer’s question about a specific stop can be answered from the work record rather than a separate conversation.

Keep different pool-service jobs easy to distinguish.

Recurring property visits

Use a repeating schedule and property-specific tasks for the service sold. Record changes in access or scope so a replacement crew member has a current handoff, rather than a generic list copied from another property.

Additional equipment work

Keep an additional request distinct from ordinary maintenance. Describe what you will do, obtain approval and plan the separate work before treating it as included in the recurring price. Technical diagnosis remains the qualified provider’s responsibility.

Access failures and return visits

Record why a visit could not proceed and who should resolve access. Agree the replacement plan and review the billing terms. Do not silently count an attempted stop as completed service or assume a return visit always carries an extra charge.

Frequently asked questions

Can narra schedule recurring pool-service visits?

Yes. narra supports recurring jobs, individual visits and crew assignment. Define the service and its billing terms separately so a monthly invoice does not automatically imply a fixed monthly package price.

Does narra calculate chemical doses or replace water-testing software?

This page does not claim purpose-built chemistry, dosing or water-testing features. narra’s workflow covers customer records, job instructions, visit tasks, notes, photos and billing. Review any specialized testing or reporting requirement when evaluating fit.

How do I handle extra work found during a routine visit?

Record the finding and proposed work, then obtain approval for its scope and price. Keep it distinguishable from already purchased service. The crew’s note identifies a request; it does not by itself establish a new customer charge.

Can I try narra with my pool-service workflow?

narra is in a private pilot. Join the waitlist and describe your recurring schedule, crew handoff and any specialized records you need. Public subscription prices are not published; confirm the fit and available access before planning a migration.
